Screen Shot 2016-02-16 at 15.06.53 Pretty Little Liars recently took home a People's Choice Award, and equally celebrated was Lucy Hale's updo. Her chin-length bob looked amazing in a fun and neo-Romantic braided bob, and the great news is that it's easy to replicate for your own night on the town. Here is a step by step guide on how to recreate this look using some of your favourite Neal & Wolf products: Start by adding a light layer of Neal & Wolf FORM Sculpting Lotion to your wet hair, followed by a light layer of SCULPT our pliable paste. Then part your hair on the side so that the braid will sweep across your hairline. While your hair is still damp, start braiding it across the hairline and work your way back near the occipital bone at the back of your head. To hold in place, use a small, cloth-covered hair elastic. Now braid the other side until the second braid meets the first one in the center of the back of your head. By this point, your hair underneath should nearly be dry. Apply a small amount of Neal & Wolf ELEVATE onto the shorter hairs before twisting and pinning them up. This step is a key part of rocking this hairdo: without a volumising lotion you'll have a hard time keeping the style in place. The product helps to keeps the hair pins in place and prevents the hair from slipping. Now comes the fun part: loosening the braid to give it a sexy-messy appearance. Using the end of a comb, pull gently on each loop, pulling little sections out to deliver that gorgeous halo effect. If your hair tends to be fine and limp, use a strong hold hairspray the hold it all in place. Those of us with bobbed hair may not believe they can look amazing in a braided updo, but with hair pins, the right products and a whole lot of creativity, you definitely can achieve this look. And the best news of all? No heated styling tools were involved at any stage, so this look is essentially damage-free! So start pinning and twisting without a shred of guilt, and enjoy the gorgeous results.
