Stars Light up MTV VMAs With Stunning Hairstyles

[caption id="attachment_496" align="alignnone" width="186"] Photograph Alex Campos on Flickr[/caption] The 2015 MTV VMAs took place at the weekend with a variety of stars pulling out all the stops to impress their peers, the tv cameras and the gathered fashion press. The new looks on show included a 1950s bombshell look from the beautiful Kylie Jenner, a new look sharp bob from American singer Ciara and Gigi Hadid's slick back high volume 'do.   Ciara's new look involved cutting a good 12 inches off her usually long and down to the waist locks, with the new cut featuring a long bob length, with sharp angled edges and fringe. The bob was styled into a centre parting and finished with a glossy shine.   The new look was certainly a dramatic departure from her waist length hair and even though Ciara has worn her hair even shorter in the past, this cut is one of our favourites.   Kylie Jenner changed up her hair yet again (we expected nothing less!) this time opting for something more subtle than her previous blue ombre colour, with classic Hollywood waves and a blunt fringe.   Another hot look we spotted on the red carpet was the sea swept style of Gigi Hadid. The supermodel sported a voluminous swept back look that was reminiscent of Priscilla Presley. According to Gigi's stylist Jennifer Yepez the look was made possible thanks to moose and thickening spray hair styling products.   Others catching the eye at the prestigious annual event included Nicki Minaj, who dazzled with ultra shine and sleek hair as she won the best hip hop video award for Annaconda.   Vanessa Hudgens' boho braid look made an impression as did Chrissy Teigen with a side swept updo complete with braids. Britney Spears who presented an award at the event wore a high braided ponytail complete with rainbow hair colours.
