Take a pea size amount of mattifying paste and massage into clean damp hair, making sure the product is evenly distributed throughout.

Comb all the hair back and place the parting in the desired location.

Starting from the parting dry the hair on a medium or high heat setting and then working from the crown to the front blow drying the hair backwards to get desired volume and lift in the hair, once the hair is dry use fingers whilst blow drying on a low heat to get the right amount of texture throughout the hair.

Work a small amount of shaping cream into the hands until the product is completely emulsified, then work the product into the hair and finishing by teasing the ends to maintain the right amount of texture.
