Screen Shot 2016-03-21 at 20.24.54 The catwalks of Paris, London, Milan and New York is where we turn to for fashion and beauty inspirations, and in 2016 they have already showcased the spring and summer must have trends and styles that we will all be trying out as soon as the blossoms start appearing on the trees. Kendall Jenner rocked the runway for Balmain, sporting a super sleek, high ponytail using extensions to add length. Plaits are now tight, refined and neat, rather than the loose bohemian ones we've got used to seeing. To rock this look add a neat, tight plait to a high ponytail and it's perfect for the office. Keep the makeup simple and use contouring to add definition and show off your cheekbones. Glam up the look for a night out by adding what's now become a staple accessory to any girl's makeup bag; bright red lipstick. If you're feeling bold you can try Burberry's lipstick shade Oxblood, for a vibrant statement lip. The wet-look was a prominent feature on the catwalks, so it looks like you can just wash and go this summer or achieve the effect using Neal & Wolf styling products such as GLOW our super shine spray or FIX our firm hold hairspray. Team this look up with bright eyeshadows in light blue and yellow shades for a vibrant tribal look that was featured on the runways by Missoni. From sleek and chic, to wild and free, apparently this is also the year to ditch the hair straighteners and go back to the ‘root' of your natural hair textures. Try out styles that take little effort and look uncontrived and casual. For long hair, it's all about wrapping coloured thread around twists to glam up and re-vamp your long locks; ideal for festival season. Grunge it up with smudged just-out-of-bed makeup eyes, which can be created by overdoing the mascara and adding blue or black eyeshadow to the inside corners of the eyes. Low messy chignon buns and updos are in, and high neat buns are out. It's all about the accessories for this look. From crowns and tiaras to brooches and head scarves, nothing is off limits. Keep the makeup minimal, but contour eyebrows and add a touch of elegance with plush plump lip gloss to perfect the pampered princess look. Fringes are in, but you can spare yourself the effort of having to grow it back out again by using fringe wigs as temporary extensions. If that doesn't appeal, improvise by brushing your hair over and across your forehead and simply tuck it behind your ear for a quick and effective DIY fringe without the scissors. There are so many different looks to try out this year and it's all about teaming it up with a new makeup look and daring to experiment to find your own individual style. From festival ready 70s boho chic to throwback 90s grunge. Create looks that are glamorous or casual using centre and side partings, plaits, buns, and fringes. This year it looks like, literally, anything goes and there's something for everyone!
