Screen Shot 2016-04-12 at 11.12.21 The annual ACM awards took place on the 3rd of April and our favourite music stars shone bright on the red carpet, showing off their fabulous hair and makeup for the glitzy, glamorous and star studded occasion. Carrie Underwood was stunning as always, and her cropped blonde locks looked super sophisticated in a centre-parted long bob that just teased her shoulders. With one side of her hair tucked behind her ear and the other side slightly covering her face, this classic style worked perfectly with Carrie's understated makeup, creating that girl next door look we all associate with one of country music's top stars. Miranda Lambert showed us all why she's one of the best-loved and hottest artists out there, with her stunning beach girl waves styled to enviable perfection. The look was achieved with a mixture of Keratese styling products and LOX hair extensions. Nicole Kidman looked chic and ready for business, wearing her long hair straight with a deep side parting. Her skin looked beautiful and flawless as always and she finished the look with a pink lip. Cassadee Pope was standout as one of the only women to wear her hair fully up. Her chic and stylish high bun was worn loose with a plume effect at the front, showing off her oval shaped features and accentuating her toned shoulders and arms. We also loved her glossy lip and dark eye. Katie Perry went all out with her hairstyle, sporting a huge, teased Dolly Parton inspired updo. With a bright pink bubblegum lip to match her earrings, extra long and curled eyelashes and a cat eyes eye liner finish. She showed us all that she can rock just like a Texas beauty queen. The undisputed queen of country music, Dolly Parton showed us that she can still kill it on the red carpet alongside her younger contemporaries. The Diva chose to wear her platinum blonde locks in loose, cascading waves and her makeup looked impeccable with a light purple eye shadow and a subtle pink shade of lipstick that set off her white lace effect outfit perfectly.
