The annual MTV Movie Awards took place in LA last night (Sunday April 12th) with a whole host of A List Celebrities doing their best to dazzle the audience with stunning outfits and hair combinations.

Here we take a look at a few of the most eye catching fashion and hairstyle choices on display.

Jennifer Lopez

J-Lo stole the show with a sexy business style cocktail dress from the Versace Spring collection.

The dress has clearly taken inspiration from the tuxedo with black and white styling and sharp lines. The dress also featured hallmark Versace details such as gold buttons and Medusa head belt.

Her hair also looked gorgeous with her signature brown locks featuring golden blonde babylights that matched her black/gold outfit perfectly.

J-Lo was also more than happy to show off some bling by continuing the gold theme with 6 rings and three bracelets!

Emily Ratajkowski

Model Emily Ratajkowski pulled of a sexy and creative look with a beautiful green cut-out halter top dress.

The star who also often appears as a dancer in high profile music videos wore her hair slicked back in a tight slightly wet look pony. This style made the most of her striking features.

Scarlett Johanson

Beautiful blonde Scarlett Johanson was spotted cuddling up to Reese Witherspoon at the event and she was sporting her new shorter pixie cut hairstyle. She wore the short crop in sexy, ruffled style.

When it came to the outfit Johanson showed off her slimline figure with a coral pink jumpsuit with cutout pattern and embroidery detailing.

She paired the outfit with colourful sandals, a bright blue clutch bag and gorgeous drop earrings.

Other stars of note included Sofia Vergara wearing a stunning blue dress, model Cara Delevingne and Bella Thorne. When it came to the actual movie awards, Fault In Our Stars took the title of best movie, with other less serious awards such as best shirtless moment going to Zac Efron for a second year in a row.
