This month we have seen another series of fine displays on the catwalk from the world's leading high fashion brands. We've scoured the runways to spot the on trend cuts and colours for Spring 2015. Read on below to see what we found out!

Mixed Materials

The juxtaposition of mixed materials with simple hairstyles is a big on trend look this Spring and the style was seen at various shows including Dolce & Gabbana, Tibi, Celine and Fendi.

To get the most from this look mix ornate and playful accessories with ponytails or buns to create beautiful works of art.

Fendi used striking leather flowers that complimented their collection while Dolce & Gabbana's models wore jewels and carnations in their hair.

Out of the Water

Continuing on from its popularity last year the just out of the water wet look was still highly visible in the recent shows. Alexander Wang, Balmain, Zac Posen, Versace and Thakoon were just a few of the shows that nailed the wet look this time around.

The slickness and shine of the hair varied from show to show with a full on fresh out of the pool centre parting look seen at Thakoon to a lightly gelled and slicked back look at Zac Posen.

Braids & Twists

There was an attainable braid or twist style on show for every hair type on the catwalks this month  and this is a great look to go forward with into Spring 2015. This beauty of this look is that you can keep it simple or make it as complicated as you like, depending on your time and skill level.

The flexibility or braids was evident throughout the shows with the complex twisted rope braids at Donna Karan to classic simple plaits at Michael Kors. Giorgio Armani also went for a more complicated look with a range of cornrowed buns.

Suno, Tome and Vera Wang were the other shows to embrace the braids and twists trend.

NEON AND FLESH TONES

When it comes to colours this Spring, neon is coming back into vogue and this look was clearly evident at the Jeremy Scott show. At the other end of the scale a new emerging trend is for flesh tones in hair colours. This look can compliment and enhance skin tone and is set to become a strong style for Spring 2015.

I was lucky enough to win Neal & Wolf Glow in the Mother's Day competition on Facebook. I absolutely love it. If definitely makes my hair shine more and had lots of compliments. It also smells great so ideal as a refresher between washes. Highly recommend.
